March 11th 2009... Georgia CLEAR Coalition holds an awareness campaign "Train the Legislature Day" Coalition members and CPR/AED instructors held demonstration and informational sessions with Legislators and Staff.
Here are some of the Legislators working together with instructors representing the American Red Cross, the American Heart Association and the American Safety and Health Institute during the Clear Coalition “Train the Georgia Legislature Day” held on March 11th 2009. Participants learned skills that can “Save a Life,” the training sessions taught CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibulator) techniques throughout the day. These life saving skills are beginning to be offered to our children, coaches, teachers and administration in high schools and AED units are becoming more available to schools, airports, and public building.
